ES Lighting Hire Terms and Conditions - Services

 

GENERAL:

The acceptance of our tender shall be deemed to include the acceptance of the following terms and conditions.

VALIDITY:

Unless the tender is withdrawn, the tender price is valid for 30 days only. All the equipment is available at the time of tender, and is only booked on receipt of written confirmation of booking, and the receipt of a deposit 25% of the contract price (hereafter called C.P)

AVAILABILITY:

All equipment is offered subject to availability. The hirer reserves the right to substitute alternative but equivalent items where necessary.

CANCELLATION:  

A charge of 25% of the C.P is charged if the contract is cancelled after acceptance except where:  a) less than 7 days notice is given, whereupon a charge of 50% of the C.P is charged,   or b) with no notice the full C.P is charged

TERMS:

The hirer shall indemnify ES Lighting Hire Ltd. against all damage to or loss of the equipment, once the equipment has been delivered to the hirer or once the equipment has been collected by the hirer. We recommend you insure the goods as any losses or damages sustained to equipment on site shall be charged at replacement/repair cost.

PAYMENT:

Payment is strictly cash or cheque (with guarantee card), upon collection, or after installation, unless prior arrangements have been made.  Subject to the discretion of ES Lighting Hire Ltd, a deposit may be required upon collection; this is refundable upon the return of the equipment in good order.

INTEREST:

Interest is charged on unpaid accounts from 28 days after the date of invoice, at a rate of 4% above the base rate of the National Westminster Bank plc base rate in force from time to time.    

ACCEPTANCE:

The acceptance of our tender must be accompanied by sufficient information to enable us to proceed with the order, failing which we are at liberty to amend the tender price to cover any increase in cost resulting from such failure on behalf of the hirer.

EXTRA COST:

In the event of suspension of work on the hirer’s instructions, or failure to supply adequate instructions at any stage, the contract price shall be increased to cover any additional expense incurred by us in consequence thereof.

FAULTS:

Should any equipment hired from ES Lighting Hire Ltd. develop a fault or not function as required, it is necessary to contact our office so arrangements can be made for a replacement or service.

ACCESS:

The quoted price assumes that there is adequate access to the site of delivery or installation. Any extra costs that are incurred in accessing the site shall be chargeable as per terms and conditions above

Ordering

All prices given on the website are correct at time of publish and are subject to change. Price list available here

All ordering enquiries taken through our website for hire orders are checked and handled by one of our staff who will contact you as soon as possible to confirm your order.

All orders for consumable products can be purchased direct through our website and shall be processed as soon as the order is received.

Should an item not be in stock we shall place your order onto backorders and be in touch with you asap to discuss how you wish to proceed

 

Delivery Policy (including usual delivery timeframes)

We offer next day delivery, providing the order has been confirmed before 2pm Monday - Thursday, using Interlink Express. If required a tracking number can be provided

We can also offer same day delivery if an order is required urgently.

Some items (such as cut gels) shall be sent via first class post.

Delivery costs shall be calculated at time of checkout

Refund/ Return Policy for the products sales

All items must be returned in their original packaging, within 7 days of being received for a refund or replacement  

The delivery cost is not refundable for any item that has been returned to us due to customers not being present to receive a consignment, and a shipping charge will be required if the customer requires the product to be resent.

 

Remittance Terms

All orders must be paid for before dispatch, this can be by Credit / Debit card, Money transfer, cheque.
Account facilities are available for trade customers, after successful applications have been received, and references taken up.
